Bio:Niles is a man of mystery. Secluded inside his Radiation Suit, no one knows what he looks like. He believes he has mystical powers that he needs to keep at bay inside his suit, but whether or not this is true is hard to find out. Niles has a penchant for telling stories of his travels and his past, but their legitimacy is hard to confirm
Some stories don't add up while others outright contradict previous, but Niles is unaware of his changes in stories. What is true and untrue is hard to decipher, but apart from that his stories are always fascinating and wild. He's also very kind and will lend helpful words of advice when needed.
Even though he has his words, Niles isn't good at socially interacting. His suit keeps people from wanting to be personal and his changing stories make him hard to understand. He finds himself in awkward situations and generally avoids interacting. This though isn't a problem with robots, as they both share plenty of similar characteristics that attracts Niles.
Though good hearted, he still has means to defend himself, being proficient in energy weapons. He also does have some immunity to radiation and can endure a lot of pain. He can also patch himself up and use his intelligence to gain an upper advantage.
All that seems to be true about Nile's backstory is this.
He was found along the mississippi by a group who raised him, then was raised further by another group who found him, he then served with some group and helped them take out another group where he got his "powers" and later his suit. He then traveled on his own till he came to the Mojave.

Bio: Zaid is a reserved and quiet person, but when prompted will make sure anything he must do matters. He's from a family who were making a pilgrimage to California from Florida. His mother planned to leave with him one night, but they were attacked by raiders. His mother was killed and his father disappeared. He was raised by another family who held themselves up at a camp inside a university where Zaid grew up.
Here he became well versed with technology and gained knowledge about surviving in the wild. During a Super Mutant attack though, he took a piece of rebar to the back and ran away from the university. He swore to become better and combat and so grew more violent and steadily grew a fear of change.
Making his way to the Mojave he started doing odd jobs for caps and survives everyday by and by. He's generally good natured but has a terrible temper, so his enemies and friends flux quite often. He also has a bad cough from his constant smoking.
